Typography:  Calibre
Launched:  December 4, 2014

DeviantArt launched a new logo designed by Moving Brands on December 4, 2014. This logo dropped the 13-year-old 'da' monogram for a new more abstract approach. The wordmark is an altered version of Klim Type Foundry's Calibre (not to be confused with Calibri), where characters can be partially cut-off at or line up with 62°, the same angle in which the symbol leans.

“Our new look is not designed to compete or keep up with other companies, brands or websites—it’s designed to tell our story and showcase our art and artists in the best possible way”
Angelo Sotira (spyed)[1], CEO of DeviantArt
